The Position: We’re seeking an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Auditor to support and lead government and public sector audit engagements. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex audits, work directly with governmental entities, and mentor audit teams—all within a flexible hybrid schedule and a growth-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage audits for government, municipal, and public sector entities
  • Plan, execute, and review audit engagements in accordance with GAAP, GASB, and applicable regulatory standards
  • Serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships and engagement expectations
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit seniors and associates
  • Review financial statements, reports, and related disclosures
  • Coordinate engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with leadership on client strategy and practice initiatives


What You Need (Qualifications)

  • 5–10+ years of public accounting audit experience
  • Prior experience auditing government or public sector entities required
  • Strong working knowledge of GASB standards
  • CPA license required (or actively pursuing)
  • Experience managing audit teams and multiple engagements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and client management skills
