The Position: We are seeking a Job Captain / Senior Job Captain to support the delivery of retail, rollout, and store planning projects. This role is highly technical and production-focused, working closely with Project Managers and Architects to ensure high-quality documentation, coordination, and execution across multiple concurrent projects. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments and have experience supporting large-scale rollout programs.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and coordinate construction documents for retail and rollout projects
- Support Project Managers and Project Architects across multiple active assignments
- Develop detailed drawing sets including plans, elevations, details, and specifications
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project accuracy
- Assist with code research, permitting documentation, and jurisdictional requirements
- Maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Participate in QA/QC processes to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency
- Support field coordination, RFIs, and construction administration tasks as needed
What You Need (Qualifications)
- 3–8+ years of experience in architecture or related field
- Strong experience in retail, rollout, store planning, or high-volume project types
- Proficiency in Revit required (AutoCAD a plus)
- Solid understanding of construction documentation and detailing
- Experience coordinating with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of building codes and permitting processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Degree in Architecture or related field required
