Senior Project Manager – Higher Education (Large scale)
Location: San Diego, CA | Hybrid Schedule (2 Days In-Office Weekly)

The Position: We are actively seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong Higher Education project experience to join our San Diego team. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing large, complex campus projects from early planning through construction. The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with two days in the office weekly.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage Higher Education projects from concept through completion
- Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships
- Oversee project teams, ensuring design quality, technical execution, and delivery timelines
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to drive successful outcomes
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams across all project phases
- Provide strategic input during planning, programming, and design phases
- Mentor and guide junior staff and support team development
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in architecture/project management
- Proven experience managing Higher Education (university/campus) projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Revit and other design/production tools
- Licensed Architect preferred (or on path to licensure)
- Strong understanding of project delivery methods and construction processes
