The Position: We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager – Emerging Growth to join our team across multiple office locations, including Irvine, San Diego, Portland, Seattle, and Las Vegas, with a flexible hybrid schedule (2 days in-office). Fully remote arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.


*Pivotal role to join our growing Emerging Growth tax group - working closely with innovative clients, startups, SaaS companies, venture-backed businesses, etc.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage tax engagements for emerging growth and middle-market clients
  • Provide strategic tax planning, compliance, and consulting services
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities for tax efficiency and risk mitigation
  • Review complex tax returns including corporate, partnership, and multi-state filings
  • Mentor, develop, and manage tax staff and managers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions
  • Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations impacting clients



Requirements

  • Active CPA license required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8-12+ years of public accounting experience, with leadership responsibilities
  • Strong experience working with emerging growth or middle-market clients
  • Proficiency in tax software, including GoSystem and OIT
  • Deep knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills
