The Position: We are seeking an accomplished Tax Partner – Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) to lead and expand our private client practice in either the Dallas–Fort Worth or West Palm Beach market. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity designed for an entrepreneurial tax executive who is passionate about serving sophisticated clients while building and mentoring a high-performing team.


You'll work alongside executive leadership to grow an already robust UHNW practice, deepen client relationships, develop future leaders, and help drive the firm's continued national expansion. Whether you're an established Partner or a Senior Tax Leader ready to take the next step, this role offers the platform, resources, and flexibility to build something exceptional.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead complex tax planning, consulting, and compliance engagements for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trusts, estates, private investors, and closely held businesses.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on sophisticated wealth preservation, estate planning, succession planning, and tax minimization strategies.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a growing team of Tax Managers, Seniors, and Staff professionals.
  • Drive strategic growth initiatives while expanding and strengthening the firm's UHNW client portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, attorneys, wealth advisors, investment professionals, and other trusted advisors.
  • Review highly complex individual, fiduciary, partnership, LLC, corporate, trust, and estate tax returns.
  • Identify planning opportunities that create long-term value for clients and their families.
  • Lead business development efforts through networking, referrals, thought leadership, and relationship expansion.
  • Partner with executive leadership on practice growth, recruiting, succession planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure technical excellence, quality control, and exceptional client service across all engagements.
  • Stay current on emerging tax legislation impacting high-net-worth individuals and private wealth planning.


Qualifications

Required

  • Active CPA license required.
  • 12+ years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Extensive experience serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trusts, estates, and privately held businesses.
  • Strong expertise in estate, gift, fiduciary, partnership, and individual taxation.
  • Proven leadership experience managing sophisticated client engagements and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success building long-term client relationships.
  • Business development experience and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and executive relationship management skills.

Preferred

  • Existing client relationships or business development network preferred.
  • Master's in Taxation (MST), JD, or LLM in Taxation.
  • Experience leading or building a UHNW or Private Client Services practice.
  • Experience working within a nationally recognized public accounting or advisory firm.
  • Interest in long-term practice leadership and continued growth.
