The Position: We are seeking a high-caliber Tax Principal / Director to join our growing Estate Gift, Trust, HNW tax practice with a focus on Ultra high-net-worth individuals, S-Corporations, and closely-held entities. In this senior role, you’ll lead client relationships, deliver sophisticated tax planning and compliance services, mentor and develop tax staff, and help drive business growth. While deep real estate partnership experience is a significant plus, it is not mandatory.


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and perform technical review and delivery of federal and multi-state income tax compliance for UHNW, estate, trust, gift, individuals, and related entities.
  • Lead tax planning engagements, offering proactive strategies for entity structuring, wealth transfer, state & local issues, and transactional tax matters.
  • Provide senior-level technical research and correspondence on complex tax issues, including partnership allocations, basis adjustments, and entity-specific considerations.
  • Manage and mentor teams of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality work product and professional development.
  • Direct engagement workflow, budgets, scheduling, and billing oversight.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and helping expand service opportunities.
  • Communicate complex tax concepts clearly with clients and internal teams.


What You Need (Qualifications)

  • 10+ years of progressive technical tax experience, ideally with significant exposure to partnerships and flow-through entities.
  • Strong experience with Estate, Trust, Gift, UHNW, etc.
  • CPA license required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver client solutions with strategic insight.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of mentoring, team leadership, and developing talent.
