The Position: We are seeking a Tax Senior / Supervising Tax Senior to join our expanding tax practice for multiple offices. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated tax professional who enjoys working with a diverse client portfolio that includes high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, LLCs, and privately held businesses. You'll work closely with Managers, Principals, and Partners while gaining exposure to increasingly complex tax planning, consulting, and compliance engagements. This role offers significant technical growth, leadership development, and a clear path toward future advancement.


What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and review complex federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, LLCs, trusts, and closely held businesses.
  • Assist with proactive tax planning strategies for business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Research federal, state, and local tax issues and prepare technical memorandums and client recommendations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of partnership taxation, pass-through entities, and business structures.
  • Work directly with clients to gather information, answer tax questions, and provide exceptional client service.
  • Coordinate multiple engagements while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Review work prepared by Staff Accountants and provide coaching and technical guidance.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and planning recommendations for clients.
  • Collaborate with Managers, Principals, and Partners on consulting projects and client advisory services.
  • Maintain current knowledge of changing tax laws, regulations, and industry developments.
  • Build strong client relationships while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA license or active CPA candidate preferred.
  • 3–6+ years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, and LLCs.
  • Strong understanding of pass-through taxation and closely held businesses.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred

  • Master's in Taxation (MST) or related advanced degree.
  • Experience serving high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses.
  • Experience reviewing staff work and mentoring junior professionals.
  • Multi-state tax experience.
  • Proficiency with leading tax preparation and research software.
